The project was implemented under the guidance of Bethel Consult commencing from 2019 to 2022 a period of 3years. The targeted groups were 7000 households within the community in the two wards. The program was seeking to come up with an intervention to ensure that families are provided with skills and knowledge to purify the water used for domestic consumption.
The overall project goal was, ‘To improve access to safe clean drinking water by people using water pans and dams as source of water in Mithiga & Olmoran wards of Laikipia County of Kenya.’
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Increased access to 17,500 individuals in 3,500 households within Mithiga & Olmoran wards on public health information, and proper handling and continuous consumption of treated water in households in 3 years.
Improve livelihoods of people living with HIV (PLWH) within Olmoran & Mithiga wards within 3 years by promoting IGA’s and savings programs
