Caritas Nyahururu greatly values the creation of stronger bonds and healthier working relationships. As such, the institution consistently ensures that spiritual, social and welfare activities remain a pivotal means of helping the team re-establish connections and foster better collaboration. In this spirit, the team that drives the mission of the organisation was fully mobilised and engaged in a well-structured day of joint team-building and welfare activities.
The program began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided over by Rev. Fr. Samuel Mwaniki Muiru, which was followed by outdoor interactive ice-breakers and trust-building exercises focused on shared purpose and mutual support. These sessions provided staff with an opportunity to step away from daily routines, receive spiritual nourishment, reconnect on a personal level and reflect together on the organisation’s core values of service and solidarity.
The day concluded with the team sharing a communal meal in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, marking the successful end of a day dedicated to reconnection, re-energising and re-strategising for the work ahead. The Caritas family left more connected, more appreciative of one another’s contributions, and renewed in their unity of purpose as they continue advancing Caritas Nyahururu’s mission.
