As a quarterly routine in the organization, we held a recollection session, an important spiritual activity that allows individuals to step away from busy schedules, reflect on their relationship with God, and renew spiritual strength. This activity provided time for prayer, self-examination, thanksgiving, and inner peace, helping individuals to grow in faith and remain focused on our mission.
Despite demanding responsibilities, all programs and projects in our Caritas Nyahururu attended this recollection day at the Subukia Marian Shrine. This helped us refresh spiritually, prevent burnout, and strengthen our commitment to serving both God and the community.
Recollection reminds us as church workers that service to humanity is also service to God, making it an essential part of effective ministry and personal spiritual growth.
