Sorghum Value Chain
The sorghum value chain project was implemented targeting 1500 small holder farmers through new improved and available technologies. This crop can withstand harsh weather conditions for example longer drought periods
Beans Value Chain
The project was implemented targeting 3,000 small holder farmer to adopt beans value chain in Laikipia County. The crop varieties are draught tolerant and take a short period to mature
Chicken Value Chain
Caritas Nyahururu proposed to support the farmers in Laikipia and Nyandarua counties to adopt kienyeji improved indigenous chicken developed by KALRO Naivasha as an alternative to maize and potato farming
Bethel Project
The program was seeking to come up with an intervention to ensure that families are provided with skills and knowledge to purify the water used for domestic consumption
Living In Faith Empowerment Project
This project started in August 2011, funded by Swiss Catholic Lenten Fund. The project was focusing on the issues touching on the proclamation of the Gospel, targeting the needs of Small Christian Communities, catechists, Parish pastoral council and other pastoral agents in Ng’arua and Ol Kalou Deaneries
